The men who care
are not the ones
with prompted scripts
and loaded guns
The men who care
slip on jeans
have empty wallets
and fragmented dreams
These men don’t care
They’ll eat the queen
while women bleed
and children scream
The men who care
they’re up at night
eyes ablaze
and mouths sewn tight
But most men don’t care
They spark a flame
burn the forests
flaunt their fame
When will we see it?
Change will come
I can feel it
